Last reviewed: 18 October 2026. This page explains how BestArabicCasinos.co is moving from historical editorial scores toward a reproducible, evidence-based evaluation of online casino and sportsbook operators. This is a methodological policy and an ongoing audit, not a claim that every site has been tested or completely verified.
Current scores versus the proposed 100-point framework
The existing review pages currently show provisional scores on a 10-point scale. On 17 October 2026, the older headline ratings were replaced by the equally weighted arithmetic average of six existing editorial criterion values, rounded to one decimal. Those underlying values were not all based on independent account testing, so the displayed overall number is not yet the result of the 100-point methodology below. Historical scores are kept in internal audit metadata; we do not represent these preliminary numbers as measured withdrawal speed or confirmed safety.
The weighted system below is the intended basis for any future evidence-validated ranking. It must not be retroactively described as the formula that produced today’s published 10-point ratings.
Proposed weighted scorecard (100 points)
| Criterion | Maximum points | What we need to verify |
|---|---|---|
| Operator identity, licence and transparency | 25 | Legal entity; licence number; exact approved domain; regulator status; regulatory warnings; applicable terms. |
| Payments, withdrawals and verification | 20 | Documented deposit and withdrawal methods; KYC, fees, limits and processing terms; verified transactions where conducted. |
| Country eligibility and Arabic-language suitability | 20 | Operator exclusions, local legal restrictions, actual available currencies, cashier access and the quality of Arabic localisation. |
| Bonuses and promotional fairness | 10 | Wagering basis, game contributions, stake caps, minimum deposit, expiry and maximum cashout rules. |
| Games and provider information | 10 | Operator’s current catalogue, independently identifiable providers, mobile usability and clear game rules. |
| Customer support and player safeguards | 15 | Contact channels, published policies, account limits, self-exclusion tools, complaints and documented support testing. |
| Total | 100 | Evidence-based target framework, not the basis of current provisional scores. |
Evidence grades and primary-source priority
- Direct regulator or official register: licence holder, licence number, status, approved domain and any regulator warning. A licence statement without matching domain evidence is not independently verified.
- First-hand, documented test: date, account jurisdiction (where lawful), cashier screenshot, deposit/withdrawal method, amount, KYC steps and observed processing time. No test means no claimed test result.
- Current operator primary source: dated terms, restricted-country rules, bonus conditions, payment and withdrawal policies, provider lists and support policies. Label these as operator-published; they do not prove practical performance.
- Third-party material: use for corroboration or leads, not as proof of an operator’s licence, supported country or successful payouts.
- Unknown, conflicting or inaccessible: explicitly mark unverified. Missing evidence is not assumed to be positive and must not be turned into invented numbers.
Country eligibility is a gating rule, not a bonus feature
An offshore gambling licence does not establish that real-money betting is legal for a reader in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Egypt, Morocco or another Arab jurisdiction. For a country-specific recommendation, check both local law and the operator’s current account registration and restricted-territory rules. A game-provider restriction must not be misrepresented as an operator-wide account ban. If current country-specific access cannot be confirmed, we mark it unverified rather than recommending the operator for that location.
When a final numerical score can be justified
Before replacing a provisional score with an evidence-validated score, we require traceable source notes for each of the six weighted criteria, independent verification of a relevant licence and exact operating domain where a licence is claimed, and an explicit country-eligibility check for any geographic recommendation. We do not manufacture evidence for inaccessible cashiers or untested withdrawals. Where these essential checks are not possible, a review remains provisional and must not be marketed as a fully tested ‘best’ recommendation. The scoring framework may remain incomplete for some operators rather than filling gaps with estimated points.
What a score does not mean
- A 100-point score is not an estimate of winning probability, return to player, profit or the chance of receiving a withdrawal.
- We do not claim an operator is safe solely because its site displays a licence logo, encryption badge or a fast-payout slogan.
- Ratings and league-table positions are not fixed: source corrections, changed terms, restrictions and confirmed testing can alter conclusions.
- Commercial affiliate relationships do not establish an operator’s eligibility or licensing; editorial claims must be independently supported.
Review updates, corrections and reader evidence
We record when a licence, bonus, withdrawal or country rule was checked, distinguish an operator statement from independently verified evidence, and update reviews when credible conflicting information appears. Where the available records disagree, we display the uncertainty and avoid a definitive assertion. A claim is not ‘tested’ simply because it was copied into a review.
